SJB Productions is owned by Sheryl Brakey. I have been in the Craft Show business for almost 20 years. I have been making Christmas Spiders for 15 years. They have been a popular product in my line of hand crafted items.
The Christmas Spider is bought as a decoration for the Christmas Tree, an ornament to put on plants, hang in window or rear view mirror, put on a computer, or any other place that the imagination can find. They also make wonderful gifts. They are sold alone or with the Christmas Book, "Cobweb Christmas." The Collector's Edition Crystal Spider is available for those who want a more elegant spider. The Spiders are made with beads. I start with a large bead for the body. Using wire, I put bead caps on each end and attach a smaller bead for the head. With more wire, I attach eight beaded legs. A cord and a tag with the story of Tinsel are added. |
